Milestones
As parents we look forward to our kids hitting milestones. The 1st time they roll over. The 1st time they crawl. The 1st word they say. A few days after Livie was born, Hannah lost her 1st tooth. It was such a big deal and we were all so excited. Last night she lost her 5th tooth. She gets excited every time too like it’s the 1st time. It’s so cute. And Livie, well she started crawling a few weeks ago. I’ve not been able to get a good picture of her doing it too because once she sees me get my camera out she immediately stops and smiles. She’s so used to being made to smile when the camera comes out. So I captured our milestones last night as Livie turned 9 months yesterday. I have a baby who’s almost 1. And another baby who’s almost 7. How blessed am I?

Ah, milestones. They are bittersweet, no? We want our kids to grow and achieve, but when they do, we realize that they are becoming their own people. Which is good. But also tough to swallow sometimes. As always, exquisite pics
